Remember when summer meant freedom?
Back then, we didn’t need planners, productivity hacks, or reminders to “rest.” We just knew how to follow the sun, listen to our bodies, and let play lead the way. We weren’t worried about being behind. We were right on time, because summer was its own permission slip.
But somewhere along the way, we stopped letting summer be summer.
Instead of slowing down, we fill it up. We cram in more. We think, “I’ll catch my breath later.” And suddenly, another season slips by, and we’re more exhausted than when it started.
What if we made different choices this year?
What if we owned our summer like we used to, treating it not as an escape, but as a return?
A return to presence.
To joy.
To a space to get still and feel.
To rest, which is earned by simply being human.
This is radical self-care.
Not bubble baths and massages (though those are great too), but the deeper kind:
✅ Saying NO with clarity (no guilt).
✅ Listening to the quiet voice inside before the loud one outside.
✅ Making space to grieve, to feel, to dream again.
That’s exactly what we’ll be doing at my next retreat at my next retreat in September - #21, I think, sharing the number so you know I am a seasoned retreat leader.
This isn’t just a getaway. It’s a reset.
The kind of soulful pause that reminds you who you are and what matters most.
Together, we’ll slow down, let go of what’s heavy, and make room for the light to come back in. Through deep reflection, guided process, creativity, and connection, you’ll walk away not just feeling better, but more like yourself again. Join me. This retreat is for you.
